Don’t do Do- A
Snail Crushing Kit for Children
The work looks at violence in the context of childhood and the naïve violence children apply, as part of their attempt to set a personal boundary between right and wrong. The role of design as a facilitating platform for the child’s natural examination of the boarders between right and wrong; is being debated through this object which repositions the act and sets it within the structured platform of a proprietary object. The “wrong” behavior, common with kids is being high lightened through the purpose and acknowledgment of the object. Does the creation of the object justify the behavior? Does it support it? Legitimizes the act?
