Street Eats was a three months design exploration into the
tasty jungle of Taipei’s street markets, conducted with my
partner Maya Ben-David. The project Street Eats explored
opportunities within the market’s lifestyle with a focus on
the human experience; while debating a broader question
range of issues, regarding contemporary urban preservation
and renewal.
The project revolved around two main questions: How can the
market facilitate and enhance social experiences to be more
relevant for the current generation? In what way can design
generate social added value and enrich the market’s experience?
The project was a residency design commission conducted for the
city of Taipei as part of its title as world design capital 2016, the
project was presented in Taipei Design Week 2015
