If a Tree Falls in the Desert

Solo Exhibition, May 2023 Benyamini Center, Tel-Aviv “sliced” and “At the Sawmill” - video 

both works explored aspects of the milling process, examining its distinctive qualities, physical presence, sounds, and specialized tools. The sculptural work Sliced interrogates the transformed identity of the log after processing, the way industrial intervention fundamentally alters not just its form but its very essence and meaning as material. The accompanying video documents this process in real-time, capturing the unique tools, the rhythmic sounds of machinery, and the moment-by-moment transformation , revealing the hidden layers and textures within.
