stump stool
industrial waste study
“Stump” was part of a variety of attempts to generate a cyclic relationship with businesses at the industrial area where the studio was located. The waste in the wood industry can get up to 30 % of the raw material. Stump was an attempt at grid based gluing, a methodology in which the wood waste was cut to specific sizes and lengths and then glued on a matrix in a pressure mold that we constructed for the process.
